Tokyo 2020 CEO Toshiro Muto isn’t ruling out a last minute cancellation of the Olympic Games amid rising Covid-19 cases — and this wouldn’t be the first time the Tokyo 2020 Olympics have been altered in the wake of the pandemic. In March 2020, the International Olympic Committee agreed to postpone the Games until 2021 due to concerns over Covid-19. The event was set to begin July 24, 2020 and end on Aug. 9, 2020.
