Those in attendance spoke about how kind, happy, and beautiful she was, as well as hard-working.
Many who gathered spoke of the sacrifices Shilan made to come to Canada, leaving family behind in hopes of building a brighter future. She often talked about her dreams of continuing her studies, traveling, and one day opening her own business. While her journey was cut tragically short, her loved ones say her life was full of meaning. The connections she built and the joy she spread continue to resonate deeply with everyone who knew her.
