Shampoo assistants are part-time beauty salon employees who handle shampooing and washing customers’ hair alongside other general tasks in the salon. They often only work weekends or shorter contracts or are new salon employees. While the job seems specific, shampoo assistants have much more general responsibilities such as sweeping, greeting, answering the phone and booking appointments.
