Beauty salons and other treatment centres often employ makeup artists to apply cosmetics to customers as part of their package. Often customers request a target look or ideal that they would like their makeup to resemble and makeup artists try to match what they apply to the customer’s request. Given the complexity of some looks and the subjectivity of appearance, matching a look to a customer request can be challenging, so makeup artists are talented individuals that work to a high standard.
