Their occasional red-carpet outings have included 2009’s Tenacity on the Tasman, a documentary about a man’s attempt to circumnavigate the world in a rowboat; 2013’s Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom, an adaptation of Nelson Mandela’s autobiography; and 2016’s A Street Cat Named Bob, about a street musician whose life changes when he takes in a stray cat. Or seemingly anything starring Tom Cruise.
It should come as little surprise, then, that Princess Catherine and Prince William were among the guests at the Odeon in Leicester Square this evening for the world premiere of Digger. The evening was held as part of the Royal Film Performance, the Film and TV Charity’s flagship fundraiser, which brings senior royals to major premieres to raise money for those working behind the scenes in the industry.
