Queen Letizia cut a stylish figure as she joined husband King Felipe VI in kicking off the first Qatari Royal state visit to Spain since 2011. The royal couple held a spectacular reception ceremony to honour the arrival of Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and his wife Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani in Madrid. Mother-of-two Letizia, 49, donned a floral embellished white dress from Carolina Herrera with slingback shoes from Spanish brand Magrit, while Felipe, 54, appeared equally polished for the start of the two-day visit in a black suit.
