The honoury ceremony included reviewing the battalion of honours of the Royal Guard accompanied by the Chief of the Defence Staff, the Chief of the Military Quarter of the House of His Majesty the King and the Chief of the battalion. The Qatari royal couple joined Letizia and Felipe at the Genoa Hall for a short briefing, before going to the Palacio de La Zarzuela where King Felipe held a meeting with Emir of the State of Qatar followed by a lunch with Queen Letizia and the Sheikha.
