Jeff Bridges, a long-time advocate for environmental issues, used the devastation of the Woolsey Fire to bring attention to climate change and its role in the growing frequency of wildfires. Bridges also participated in fundraising events to aid in the recovery of people affected by the fires and advocated for more resilient community planning to withstand future natural disasters.
