The 17th of Shahrivar is the anniversary of the death of Sadegh Rezazadeh Shafaq, a Tabrizi constitutionalist politician, writer, and professor at Tehran University. Sadegh Rezazadeh was born on December 9, 1271, in the Sorkhab neighbourhood of Tabriz. His father was Reza and his grandfather was Haji Sadegh, and on the occasion of this same name with his grandfather, he was sometimes called Mirza Haji Agha. He completed his primary education at Tabriz Nurture School. Continuing his studies at the “Memorial” American School in Tabriz coincided with the signing of the Constitutional Decree. He studied in this school and acted as a translator for the American teacher of “Harold Baskerville” school.
