The Taharis also relax in the downstairs spa room with a sauna (“for massages, facials, haircuts, nail care,” says Rory) and enjoy two terraces that overlook the city.One of those terraces is right off the master bedroom suite, which includes a rather revealing master bathroom, one of Elie’s favorite spaces in the loft. It’s an egg-shaped room of snowy white marble with an open shower and a tub big enough for two. One bathroom wall is made of marble; the others are glass. And in a city where watching neighbors from windows is a favorite pastime, Elie doesn’t disappoint.
