Before entering the political spotlight, Lara worked as a story coordinator and producer for Inside Edition, a syndicated news magazine show, from 2012 to 2016. This experience in media and television helped her transition into political communication and campaign work. Lara married Eric Trump, the second son of former President Donald Trump, on November 8, 2014. Their wedding was held at Mar-a-Lago, the Trump family’s private estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
