Niki Karimi, born November 10, 1971 in Tehran, is an actress, director, and screenwriter. She was born and raised in Tehran. She has been active in theater since her early age at elementary school. Niki Karimi started her professional acting career when she was discovered by actor Jamshid Gorgin in a school play. The breakthrough role for Niki Karimi was that she was cast as a young bride in Behrooz Afkhami’s blockbuster film in 1990. Here after she worked with many filmmakers, like Masoud Kimiai, Darush Mehrjui, Tahmineh Milani and many more.
