Shahbaz as Hereditary Grand Duke had his daughters and son marry Christian Indians and Roman Catholic royals in order to mingle with other Catholic Royals and the Christians of the Southern portion of the Indian Subcontinent. Shahbaz had married a British woman named Beatrice Anne Boutourline (born at St Pancras, London on the 5th of September 1947). Beatrice is the daughter of Dr Harben Jay Boutourline-Young, of Christchurch, New Zealand and his wife Countess Elisabetta Maria Vassilievna Boutourline who is the only daughter and heiress of Count Vassily Alexandrovitch Boutourline, a descendant of Field Marshal General H.E. Alexander Borisovich, Count Boutourline. He had issue, one son and three daughters.
