After completing his secondary education, Bennett enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). He served in elite special forces units, including Sayeret Matkal and Maglan, participating in various military operations. His military service played a significant role in shaping his leadership style and political worldview. Following his service, Bennett studied law at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he earned a law degree.
Before entering politics, Bennett built a successful career in the technology sector. In 1999, he co-founded Cyota, a cybersecurity company specializing in fraud prevention and online banking security. The company grew rapidly and was eventually acquired by RSA Security in 2005 for approximately $145 million. Bennett later became CEO of Soluto, a software company focused on simplifying personal computer management. Under his leadership, Soluto expanded internationally and achieved considerable success.
