Unlike many of his contemporaries, Yaghmai didn’t see Western music as opposing forces. Instead, he merged them seamlessly, creating a genre that was uniquely his own. The 1970s were a period of cultural dynamism, and Yaghmai quickly rose to prominence. He was among the first artists to incorporate electric guitars and rock arrangements into music, introducing elements of blues, funk, and psychedelia. Tracks like Leila and Del Dareh Pir Misheh highlighted his experimental spirit, earning him critical and popular acclaim.
